Questions to ski star Anna Veith

WOMAN: What do you do as a winter athlete against dry skin? Veith: If you drive with 120 km / h at up to -20 degrees racing, the skin is extremely strained. Much is really helping there. My tip: plenty of cream and cream again – and of course, drink a lot. WOMAN: You are brand ambassador of the fresh cosmetics Ringana. Why exactly these? Veith: Nature and sustainability are generally very important to me. That's exactly what I found at Ringana. Only natural ingredients in the products, no preservatives – and all this sustainably produced in Austria. This fits perfectly. WOMAN: How can you keep fit in winter? Veith: I can absolutely recommend skiing there. A sport that offers everything: nature experience, mountains, you are out in the open air. And it's also an excellent strength and coordination training. WOMAN: As a ski racer you do intensive strength training. But what else is important to you? Veith: For me, mobilizing and improving flexibility are part of the training. I also do exercises that are derived from yoga. WOMAN: You are traveling a lot. What should not be missing while traveling? Veith: Always with me is my Blackroll. This is just the perfect fitness tool. For relaxation of tense muscles and fascia training. And my hand cream may not be missing. Because the constant snow contact the hands are very strained for us ski racers.
