It is becoming increasingly cooler – and the risk of cooling & Co. is growing. It is time to strengthen our defenses. Because if the body is supplied with the right vitamins, the defense works perfectly! The following nutrient-rich foods you can take courageous: Vitamin A Vitamin A stimulates the immune cells and keeps the mucous membranes moist and thus keeps pathogens at a distance. Vitamin A is contained in pumpkin, liver, egg yolk, eel, carrots and spinach. It should always be taken with some fat. Vitamin B12 Vitamin B12 helps our immune system detect viruses and bacteria. It is contained in cheese, fish, meat, liver, milk and yeast. Vitamin C Particularly good vitamin C supplements are zirconia fruits such as zirones and oranges. Vitamin E is mainly found in wheat germ, nuts, spinach, whole wheat, soy, kale or edible oils (walnut, peanut or corn oil). Magnesium Good magnesium suppliers are bananas, milk, legumes and cereals. These strengthen the immune system. Zinc This mineral is an absolute must. Zinc is involved in the production of defense cells. Studies show that taking enough zinc can nearly halve the number of colds. This is reason enough to take a courageous approach to meat, eggs, dairy products, oatmeal, poppy seeds, nuts and green leafy vegetables. Folic acid Folic acid is needed for the production of antibodies. Good sources include cabbage sprouts, bean sprouts, leafy green vegetables, and chickpeas.
