One thing we promise you: If you go for breakfast with lots of proteins, you will not miss anything. Hard to believe but even omelet or fried egg with bacon are allowed! But there are also really healthy variations for a delicious low carb breakfast. We show you some of them here!
Why do you take off with protein?
The fact is: protein is the best sattler that there is. If you are full for longer, it is easier to eat less or to abstain from snacking. In addition, protein heats the metabolism. Much better than carbohydrates or fat. So if you want to lose weight, put proteins on the menu, but do not give up healthy carbohydrates.
Which protein recipes are suitable for breakfast?
1. Pancakes without flour
Ingredients for 4 persons:
– 3 Fairtrade organic bananas
– 6 organic eggs
– 1 cup / 100 g grated coconut
– 1/2 cup / 70 g fresh blueberries (or frozen)
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– Coconut oil for frying Preparation:
Peel the bananas and crush with a fork. Knock the eggs into a bowl and mix with the crushed bananas. Add the grated coconut, blueberries and cinnamon. Mix everything well until a creamy dough is formed. Heat the coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. With a small creator now empty the dough circularly into the pan (about 10 cm in diameter). When small bubbles appear, turn the pancakes and fry them golden brown on both sides. Serve the pancakes with fresh fruits, grated coconut and cinnamon.
2. Chia pudding
Ingredients for 4 glasses of chia pudding:
– 2 tablespoons chia seeds
– 120 ml of milk (eg vegan milk)
– 1 teaspoon agave syrup
– 1 pkg. Pudding powder
– fruits to taste
– Nuts Preparation:
Mix chia seeds and milk together and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes. In between, stir the whole 2-3 times, so that the seeds do not settle on the ground. Season with agave syrup.
Then pour the chia pudding into jars and garnish with fruits and nuts.
3. Vegetable frittata
Ingredients for a pan frittata:
– 200 g of carrots
– 400 g of zucchini
– 2 onions
– 1 sprig of rosemary
– 1 tbsp butter lard
– 1 clove of garlic
– 4 eggs
– 3 tablespoons of whipped cream
– 3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan
– Salt and pepper
– 200 g cocktail tomatoes
– Rocket preparation:
Peel the carrots, clean the zucchini and grate everything together with the onions. Chop the rosemary needles and add.
Then heat the clarified butter in a non-stick pan. and sautй all the vegetables in it. Squeeze 1 garlic clove, fry and then salt well and pepper.
Whisk eggs, whipped cream and Parmesan together, salt and pour evenly over the vegetables. Bake the pan in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.
Then pour the frittata on a plate, turn it again and cut into pieces of cake. Add the washed rocket and the quartered cocktail tomatoes and sprinkle with some grated Parmesan cheese.
